Feb 9, 2025 Sniff n Go

Thank you for entering the February 9th Sniff n Go at On Point Pet Spa in Richfield.  This email contains a lot of information, please read through it. :-)

 

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time.  Park in the front lot anywhere in front of Hallman Lindsay or On Point.  Please don't park on the side as we'll have line of sight concerns on the side (see map below.) There is no indoor crating - dogs must be crated in your vehicles.  Dogs can be exercised in the grassy area next to the parking lot.  Please pick up after your dogs.  You are free to leave once your searches are done.

 

When you arrive, our staging person will check you in and check whether or not you are running Exterior and/or Vehicles.  Right now, the weather for our Sniff n Go is predicted to be sunny and chilly, but 1-3" of snow is predicted Saturday night.  We plan to offer Exterior and Vehicle searches, but will make the final decision that morning based on the snowfall and exterior conditions.  If you want to participate in the Exterior and Vehicle searches, they are an additional $10 each.  We will be accepting payment via cash or PayPal on Sunday. 

 

ALL searches will be on leash.  You'll receive an email on Saturday Feb. 8th with a link to walk-through videos. Each search may be run Blind or Known, or you may ask for help during your search.  No coaching will be given.  Observations will be noted on your scoresheet, which will be given to you at the end of your searches.

 

8:00AM NW3/ELITE Flow:

Dogs enter through front doors of Wicked Archery and run Interior searches 

1- Retail & Testing room

2 - Range

3 - Lounge and Back Room

Exit through back door of Wicked, run Exterior then Vehicles if applicable

Enter On Point through back door, run Containers

Exit through front door of On Point to parking lot

Max 4 minutes per search.

11-12: Lunch break and run worker dogs if possible.

 

12:00PM NW1/NW2 Flow:

Dogs enter through front doors of On Point 

Run Containers - Retail/Lobby

Run Interior searches

1 - Massage Room

2 - Kitchen/Bathroom/Hallway

3 - Crating/Grooming

Exit through back door of On Point.

Run Exterior and Vehicles if applicable

Walk around building back to parking lot.

Max 3 minutes per search.
